The ingredients needed to prepare Black Chana curry:
- Get 200 gm of black Chana.
- Provide 1 of potatoes.
- You need 2 tbsp of Oil.
- Use 1 tsp of cumin seed.
- Use 2 of onion.

- Prepare 1/2 inch of ginger.

- Soaked black Chana for 4-5 hours then take a cooker add water, 1 tsp salt, peeled potato, soaked black chana boil it for 3-4 whistle.
- Take a Mixi jaar add garlic, ginger, green chilli and onion then grind it.
- Heat the kadai add oil when oil is hot add cumin seed after crackle of seed add paste,turmeric powder,coriander powder,garam masala and red chilli powder saute till Oil separated from the paste.
- Then add chopped tomatoes cook till tomato get soft and pulpy add salt (while adding salt again in gravy make sure you already added before while boiling/ first taste then add remaining salt),now add chana.
- Curry consitency depends upon u how much you want to thick or watery type Cook till Correct consitency you want.
- Chana curry is ready to serve with puri, chapati etc.
